CLIMATE

Being surrounded by the sea, the climate in New Zealand doesn’t get uncomfortably hot or unbearably cold. Averages are between 20 and 30 degrees in summer and 0 and 15 degrees in winter.

Winter (JUN - AUG): is the season of snow. Ideal for those who want to enjoy skiing or snowboarding.

Summer (DEC - FEB): Best temperature as well as the high season for tourism. Activities such as surf, swimming with dolphins and diving are good examples of activities offered.

Autumn (MAR - MAY) and Spring (SEP - NOV): If you are looking for tranquility, cheaper accommodation and easier travelling around, these times are great. Excellent for trekking and cycling.
